Old Bailey is the name of the building that houses the Central Criminal Court in London, the most important of the courts that make up the Crown Court, one of the pillars of the justice system in England and Wales (which is separately from Scotland and Northern Ireland). Its jurisdiction is limited to the capital, although in rare cases also deal with cases from other parts of England. Old Bailey is one of the leading British regular newscasts, but recently made headlines nicest grounds of serious crimes are tried in it. I had a look at random with a few search terms and the result has been very interesting and even sympathetic to the everyday nature of a lot of recorded crime, some of them quite minor. The language is fairly flat so it's not that hard to understand as one might imagine.
