Which Is The Best Mixer Grinder In India?

Review of" Five Minutes of Glory "(" Five Minutes of Heaven "England - Ireland 2009)

Synopsis: Lurgan, Northern Ireland, 1975. A low-level civil war has been growing, with the IRA, loyalists aimed at British and the Loyalist Volunteer Force Ulster, which calls for revenge against Catholic militants they consider Republicans. Alistair Little, 16, is the leader of a cell UVF (Ulster Volunteer Force) eager to shed blood. He and his crew received the okay to kill a young Catholic, James Griffin. When the coup was perpetrated, Joe Griffin - the younger brother of 11 years of target - looks in horror as his brother dies. Thirty years later, Joe Griffin and Alistair must meet, before the cameras, ahead of a reconciliation. Alistair has served his sentence, and peace has been established in Northern Ireland, but Joe Griffin has other plans in mind.

who lately has seen some of the new German cinema, you know better than anyone that Olivier Hirschbiegel is credited with cinematic gems paths almost impossible to forget. "The Experiment" ("Das Experiment", a film that recently had its American remake of the labor and Forest Whitaker Adrien Brody) and the formidable "The Fall" ("Der Untergang") were, are and will be, a sample the undoubted quality of this excellent filmmaker. However, it was not at all auspicious film debut that Hirschbiegel had in the Hollywood industry, taking over the movie "Invasion" ("The Invasion "), a quiet film that had many problems throughout the shoot.

But as the quality and talent rarely lose, Hirschbiegel offers us his latest production "Five minutes of glory" ("Five Minutes of Heaven"), a film that portrays in a very, very effective, different feelings and consequences that the conflict that erupted in Northern Ireland back in the seventies was leaving on the parties involved in this case masterfully performed by excellent actors such as James Nesbitt and Liam Neeson.

The story takes us back to Lurgan, Northern Ireland, 1975 where a totally uncontrolled civil war has been growing over the years. Alistair Little (played by Liam Neeson) is a 16 years too eager to contribute in some way in that conflict, which is recruited by the Ulster Volunteer Force, to carry out a coup against an innocent young Catholic. Alistair committed the crime with great conviction, even with the presence of the young brother of the victim being an eyewitness to what happened. Already today, with a sentence served in tow, Alistair has drastically changed their way of life.

The guilt and the weight of his crime has led him to have this unwanted loneliness and abandonment. However, Alistair sees the chance for redemption when suddenly he was invited to meet with the brother of his victim for a television program. However, things did not go as he hopes and a new spiral of violence may just be starting.

"Five Minutes of Glory" is, in my view, a great little film completely away from the sometimes exhausting American commercial cinema. Not too many airs and just and necessary duration, the film tells a very convincing way the different effects that can leave any armed conflict in the mind of every one of those involved. It is quite remarkable that within the script stipulates almost uniquely on feelings and hardships of all parties acting on that issue, whether victims or perpetrators.

So sometime in the film, the viewer will see that none of the two main characters have been able to lead a good life over the years, and no possibility of forgiveness, for little or nothing can be done to improve .

Hirschbiegel understood this last point to perfection and perfectly narrated from the film, either because the dialogs are really interesting or quite simply because the film contains scenes of more or too out of context. The conflict is one, and differences are many, which will be very interesting by filing along the entire length of the tape.

In short, "Five minutes of glory" is one of those films that are not commercially used at all (in the U.S. box office revenue was absolutely none), but luckily for us all, continue nurturing our beloved silver screen, but either eyedropper. Another class of extremely talented film provided one of the best filmmakers of today. Highly recommended.

Movie Rating: Very Good.
