Toothbrush On Ultimate Ispy Wii

Critique of "White Ribbon" ("Das Weisse Band" Germany - Austria - France - Italy 2009)

Synopsis: The action takes place in a Protestant village in northern Germany around 1913/1914 on the eve of the First World War. The main protagonists of the story is the Baron, the pastor of the Church and children's choir, a widowed doctor and school teacher. All are moved by a series of strange and unexplained incidents which take the form of a ritual of punishment. Who is behind these sinister events? This sharp portrait of a repressive society allows us to notice how gradually the Nazis began to hatch within Western Europe.

In fact, I really am very rare criticism of this writing the critically acclaimed film by German director Michael Haneke. Why do I feel strange, you ask blog readers? Well quite simply by several points that I will try to detail in the most concise and clear as possible. Consider it highly commendable from every point of view, different filmmakers (especially from European film) take the problem of Nazism (or other) and develop different stories on where they can capture all your feelings toward a disastrous time in the history of this century. I really think this way.

is why, in my favorite movies will always be tremendous awesome movie as "Platoon," "Sins of War," "The Thin Red Line," "Sophie Scholl - The Final Days" and the spectacular German film "The Fall," among other gems of cinema in recent years. Now, on the other hand "The fact of taking the issue of Nazism, which already gives added value to any film, thinks that a film is required viewing or quite simply is the catalog of awesome movie by critics throughout the world? Well to be honest, I truly believe that.

Moreover, since entering fully in the review of the film by Michael Haneke I say without hesitation that "The White Ribbon" will have some interest in some guidelines that raises, but as a film product has transformed my view one of the most boring movies, apathetic and lacking in ideas I've seen in recent years, and all the blame, absolutely all the blame for this lies with the lousy script that Haneke provided for this acclaimed film.

should not blame anything on the tape from the technical point of view (which is fantastic), or from the standpoint of acting (rare in Europe, the performances are loose), and as well told , is quite commendable that Haneke wants show a German company and educationally ill-minded absolutely psychotic since well before the Nazis took power in the country. Now, the way in which the filmmaker puts it in the film is frankly very poor.

The script (which plainly is the main problem of the film) is so very badly narrated that rarely had so many of wanting to stop watching a tape for half its length, as it happened in this time with his latest film product. Haneke became a story that could have considerable potential, something difficult to digest, boring wholesale unfinished resolutions and characters who fail to interest the viewer at any time of the excessive length of the film. And there is a problem of European cinema in general, and in recent years, progress has come to film in countries like France and Germany is something really palpable and extremely valuable.

I think the main problem of Haneke's film is little or nothing had worked on a script that, while interested in the beginning, gradually becomes transformed into something very heavy on the narrative level, almost at the limit of the unbearable . Yes it is worth noting, moreover, the technical soundness of the film, especially since the impeccable direction of photography and the mastery of the filmmaker to move the camera right and necessary.

also worth mentioning the impeccable direction of actors that Haneke did with the film, as in any point of view there actions on the tape loose, and in fact I have been pleasantly surprised by all the performances of children appear in the film. Certainly this is the highest point of this, in my view, very poor tape.

In conclusion, "White Ribbon" is a film product with good ideas but a prisoner of a horrible script that had been wrecked any film, of any nationality at any time in cinematic history. A film that could in any way be saved not by his spectacular technical section, or for great acting performances, nor, frankly, good intentions by its history.

film Rating: Poor.

How To Get Vaccination Records For Ontario

Critique of "The Shutter Island "(" Shutter Island "USA - 2010)

Synopsis: Set in 1954, Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Teddy Daniels, who is investigating the disappearance of a murderer who has escaped from the mental institution in which he was, and apparently hiding in the remote Shutter Island.
It had been a long time since the great Martin Scorsese did not get fully into the genre of psychological thriller. If memory serves me correctly, "Cape Fear" ("Cape Fear") was his last foray into the thriller field, providing a great film from start to finish, with brilliant direction and a huge performances (Robert De Lo Niro is to watch over and over again without tiring) for which it was until today one of the movies that I enjoyed throughout my life as a spectator.

But back to the review of the film before us today, "Shutter Island" is based on the Dennis Lehane novel of the great, who has provided great novels have been adapted to film with great success, among which we remember "Rio Mystic "(" Mystic River ", winner of two Oscars) and" Gone Baby Gone "(" Gone Baby Gone, "a film incredibly ignored at the Oscars, with a huge performance by Casey Affleck). Does this mean, moreover, that "Shutter Island" is at the height of his earlier novels? Well, the truth and to be honest, I would say no, but I have to be fair and say that the story is really entertaining and is extremely well designed and structured.

The movie begins recounting the arrival of "Shutter Island" federal agent Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) for research on the unusual disappearance of one of the patients most dangerous place for what will be assisted by his partner Chuck (played by Mark Ruffalo), who together try to remedy the situation, but little by little will be encountering several problems of all kinds, so will doubt, even up to his own sanity.

As I said in the previous paragraph, that "Shutter Island" is based on a novel by the great Denis Lehane, provoked in me (and I think any viewer of the film) a much greater expectation normal, given his impeccable background in previous films. I think ultimately, the libretto of "Shutter Island" has as many pros as it is also against. Before anything else worth mentioning, that this is a very well structured script and interesting. The story is very tolerable, the character development is really perfect (especially Leonardo DiCaprio) and various revelations that occur in his last fifty minutes (the film is stretched over two hours and twenty minutes) were very well diagrams and are perfectly believable in every way.

But right there is where the only problem that I see it gives the script. Final resolution. Not because this is similar to that of other tapes, but because it is a bit predictable. The spectator who proposes split hairs averaging the footage without much effort you can guess where he comes the thing (not the final resolution itself, but on solving the structure of the film), for which the libretto, for which I return repeating that provides a well told story and interesting, you lose a little ingenuity on the final leg of the tape.

What I can say the work of Martin Scorsese behind the camera? Only words of praise. Great on the camera movements (no frantic movements, but rather learn to locate it in the best places and always taking long shots and interesting), spectacular the recreation of the period and above all very well taking all the time in the world to develop the main character in the film.

In that sense, Leonardo DiCaprio's performance is still at the height of what is giving us this fine actor in recent times. "Blood Diamond" and "The Departed" was a sign of progress impeccable acting, and "Shutter Island" is just a confirmation that we are facing a strong actor that Scorsese has taken as its own.

To go over, "Shutter Island" is a movie really recommended. A psychological thriller very correct in virtually all facets of film, which you may be able to object to a certain predictability in the plot, but why can not detract from a very well done, interesting and very tidy throughout their development.

Movie Rating: Good.
