What Is An I Chi From Jcpenneys

Review of "The Best of Brooklyn" ("Brooklyn's Finest" USA 2009)

Synopsis: Three cops, no connection between them and with very different careers, match during a massive raid on the most dangerous Brooklyn. The fact that their paths will cross will expose their stories: Eddie (Richard Gere) is a self-destructive and honest man who has lost the respect of his peers, Sal (Ethan Hawke) has fallen into corruption and live with the guilt to give it a greater good to his family, and Tango (Don Cheadle) goes undercover in a drug case and shall betray Caz (Wesley Snipes), a dealer who has become his best friend.
Antoine Fuqua is today, and my humble opinion, one of the best professionals with whom the Hollywood movie has in its vast film industry. Back in 1998, and with some really good actors as Jun-Fat Chow and Mira Sorvino Fuqua gave an excellent action film entitled "Murderers Substitutes" ("The Replacement Killers"), which tells the story of a murderer who began a tremendous revenge against his persecutors, after disobeying a final dangerous mission .

That film was for me, and I think for many other fans of action cinema, a huge festival shootings incredible, spectacular chases, great location and really good performances from all its cast. No surprise then, that years later and more precisely in the glorious 2001, Fuqua was scored in the film world with his spectacular masterpiece "Training Day," a police hard, witty, extremely well shot and above all, better acted.

was not surprising that Denzel Washington will lift up with his second Oscar after a tremendous performance in that film, but it was a pleasant surprise to see Ethan Hawke deliver an incredible performance in the role of a rookie cop who would do anything for climb in his quest to become a detective in the narcotics division. And therein and frankly very good actor, is where "Training Day" and "The Best of Brooklyn" converge on certain similarities.

To begin Review of "The Best of Brooklyn", I have to make it clear that despite being a police draws enough of the style known Fuqua give "Training Day" is far from the greatness of that one and me, unique film.

"Best of Brooklyn" features a very interesting script from newcomer Michael C. Martin, who was able to attach itself to the typical script of police tape, certain characteristics that make this film a cinematic product that ends up being to my mind very, very recommended. Here are told daily dramas of all kinds on the lives of three policemen in the film are played very good way of great actors like Ethan Hawke, Don Cheadle and Richard Gere.

For this reason, the narrative of the film we find all the ingredients that the police tend to give the public, from covert operations, to the familiar temptations they are exposed to the military (as in the character of Ethan Hawke, by far the best plot development), and culminating in the already well-known psychological problems of characters to which the hard life in the police force has left a mark very hard to bear (as in Richard Gere's character) .

While the script does not have nearly the argument structure Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu choose for his films, yes this is a story that connects part of the problems of the main protagonists in a great final 20 minutes, where the tension reaches a peak, thanks to a very good story that the film has along its entire length. In short, Martin was able to provide a very good script that a filmmaker Antoine Fuqua impeccable as he tried not to miss.

Fuqua

The address is downright excellent. Move the camera like few others, known to provide moments of extreme stress, has shot four or five scenes of shootings very well executed, and just took the time and necessary to give your characters development in accordance to what the film needed. On the other hand, good directing actors Ethan Hawke has made us another sample of the tremendous actor he is and above all, has made an actor like Wesley Snipes (a boy to date a humble servant as I had an actor of grout) to provide the best performance I've seen in their poor film career.

In conclusion, "The Best of Brooklyn" is a full-fledged police. Very well filmed (the action scenes are impeccable) and acted, this is a highly recommended film for anyone who has enjoyed, for example, films such as "Family Code" or "The Own the Night. "

Movie Rating: Very Good.
