Blonde Highlights Half Full

Critique of "In Bruges" ("In Bruges" England - USA 2008)

Synopsis: Two thugs, Ray and Ken, after wandering catastrophically commissioned in London, travel to Bruges to await orders from his boss, Harry. In view of this is probably the last place you arrive in, opt to make living of tourists until the call reaches the head. Ray is still obsessed with the failure of the work and begins to hate the city, on the contrary Ken gets to relax and enjoy the charms of this and the more you enlarge the wait, the more surreal are the situations that will occur.
Many were the people who time and again earnestly recommended me this tape of Martin McDonagh English as one of the best films to world cinema went through back in 2008.

was not until just over two weeks (better late than never) I really had a chance to see with my own eyes the undoubted quality of this English band, which has an excellent expertise to combine disparate genres such as comedy and drama more distressing.

The film tells the story of Ray and Ken (Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson), two murderers salaries suddenly sent to the Belgian city of Bruges after Ray failed catastrophically in their first killing of a child accidentally. Once in Bruges, both are dedicated to spending time pleasantly as possible while awaiting instructions from his boss on what are the steps to follow in the future.

Martin McDonagh was the creator of the script for this film (nominated for an Oscar for it), as well as was responsible for cameras placed behind the management of this excellent film.

little to draw a well structured is the script of "In Bruges" would have to think more than anything about the extreme difficulty always lies the complex mix of film genres (in this case in particular, drama and comedy). With regard to the latter point, I think how McDonagh tells the tape back and forth between the more dense and distressing drama and the typical British comedy has been really impressive. Admirable

not just for the sake of presenting extremely well to all the characters in the film, which greatly helps the performance thereof acting (especially at the Golden Globe winner, Colin Farrell), but on-screen display interesting and progressive shift between comedy and drama, especially from their final hour of footage. That's where the film becomes more and more dramatic and where the viewer feel ultimately that is facing a very, very successful film.

The excellent work screenwriter who gave McDonagh on "In Bruges" certainly moved it very effectively to their performance behind the camera. Not only did present the story and characters in a very neat and efficient but managed to get Colin Farrell (a actorazo in my view) one of the best performances of his more interesting film career.

Regarding technical details of the film, we could highlight a wonderful picture and some very beautiful locations to which McDonagh was able to profit through his impeccable timing and a few panoramic images.

I've always liked Colin Farrell's performance as an actor throughout his career. In fact, the first tape when I had a chance to see, "Hart's War", Farrell had seemed a young owner of a natural conditional very, very interesting. While it is true that Colin still good to have a successful career film, it is also true that the performance achieved in each of his films always end up being the most interesting of these products.

In fact, Farrell does here in "In Bruges" by far his best performance of all his movies (Perhaps with his film "Phone Booth"), providing a nuanced character from psychological problems resulting from the trauma of the manslaughter of a child, through the generosity shown throughout the film for trying to help different characters way of redemption. Great performance of Farrell, which has given the deserved opportunity to win so far his only Golden Globe

to be closing, "In Bruges" was a film I loved it from beginning to end. Possessing an interesting story, the film moves from comedy to drama so so very simple, as a spectator you can not do anything else to surrender at his feet. Undoubtedly, a seamless cinematic product.

Movie Rating: Excellent. Read
